Regional Sales Associate

Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer in Terra Prime, this position is responsible for all Altama Energy Inc. Packaged Gases and Energies sales within Terra and Stanton systems. The goal of this position is to ensure that budgeted sales and margin goals are met or exceeded for the targeted area of responsibility.

Major responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing new business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Discuss target and top accounts regularly
  • Responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy with the collaboration of the marketing team
  • Maintain and manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and staff and to develop key relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business with at least 2 years’ experience in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High level of knowledge of the gases or energy industry is preferred
  • Experienced galactic model of resource and commodity trading
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from upper management, clients, and staff and general public
  • Demonstrated strong decision making and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with aid of security escorts
  • Advanced ability to attain goals and objectives through delegating and managing teams
  • Must have high aptitude of independence with an adaptable and flexible demeanor
  • Proficient with business tools: Spreadsheets & word processors.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Possess a valid private space vehicle licence.
