Starfarer Flight Engineer
The Flight Engineer is responsible for monitoring all vehicle engine and control systems, and specialized equipment while in flight. They also perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections when the aircraft is away from home station. They accomplish many of the aerospace maintenance, loadmaster and other functions away from home that individual specialists would do at the home station.
Major responsibilities:
- Operates and monitors engine and aircraft systems controls and indicators, that can include hydraulic, fuel, electronic, air conditioning, communication, navigation, radar and others
- Reports abnormal conditions to pilot and recommends corrective action
- Performs aircraft inspections

Qualifications
- Physical qualification for aircrew duty
- Normal depth perception
- Engineering or Technical Degree
- Height not less than 64 inches or more than 77 inches
- Qualification for aviation service
- Eligibility to deploy and mobilize worldwide
- Eligibility for a Secret security clearance
